A booking might feel instantaneous from the customer's side, but a fair amount happens between that first click and the moment a QR code gets scanned at the door.
Step One: Choosing a Listing
It starts with browsing - an event, a transport trip, or an experience - and reviewing the details, pricing, and host reputation through reviews.
Step Two: Checkout
At checkout, Bookiora independently recalculates the correct price and commission server-side, ensuring what's charged always matches what was actually listed.
Step Three: Secure Payment
Payment is processed through a certified payment gateway. Once the payment is verified - not just assumed from a notification, but confirmed directly with the gateway - the booking is marked as paid.
Step Four: The Digital Pass
A unique, secure QR pass is generated and added to the customer's account, ready to be used whenever the activity takes place.
Step Five: Check-In
At the venue, the host or their staff scans the QR pass. The system verifies payment status and remaining sessions in real time, logs the scan, and grants access - no paper, no guesswork.
A Lot Happens Quietly
None of this complexity is visible to the customer, and that's exactly the point. A booking should feel simple on the surface, even when there's a lot of careful engineering making sure it actually is.
